PSC Support has been in existence for twenty years, and was established as a registered charity with the Charity Commission in 2006. Supporting research has always been an important part of PSC Support’s work, and PSC Support has clearly defined research priorities. It's important to us that we have clearly defined and transparent mechanisms in place to achieve this, and that there is a robust peer-review process in place to assess all applications for research funding.
Take Part in Research
There has never been a more exciting time than now for PSC research. PSC Support has been a long-term financial, advocacy and governing partner for UK-PSC, a group of PSC researchers and specialists looking at causes and risk factors for developing PSC. All PSC patients are encouraged to provide a blood sample, ragradless of age or stage of disease. You can also keep your eye on our page looking at opportunities to take part in research.
