Your experience of PSC and healthcare
We are delighted to share with you this opportunity to take part in a research study looking at people's experiences of PSC and the healthcare system.
Experience of PSC Study – volunteers needed
Researchers at the University of Birmingham (supervised by Professor Gideon Hirschfield) are looking for people with PSC to take part in a study to find out more about:
- your experiences of having PSC; and
- your experiences of the healthcare system.
Why is this research important?
The research will be used to make recommendations for better ways of managing healthcare for people with PSC and improve our understanding of what it is like to live with PSC.
Who is eligible to take part?
Anyone with PSC is eligible to take part in this research. Ideally we are looking for patients in or near the West Midlands area. If you live further afield you will still be considered so please do get in touch.
What is involved?
You will take part in a face to face interview with the researcher. This is likely to last between 1 and 11/2 hours. You can choose to be interviewed in your own home or at the University of Birmingham.
