A Support Trustee for PSC Support
Karen Rockell joins our Board of Trustees
We are delighted to announce that Karen Rockell has joined our Board of Trustees as a Support Trustee.
Karen has had a liver transplant for PSC and AIH in 2010. Six weeks later, she had a Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) and is a Trustee of Beat SCAD. Karen competes in the British Transplant Games every year.
Professionally Karen is retired and spends her time supporting others in her situation. She is a member of the NHSBT Patient & Public Advisory Group and is a patient member of the British Liver Transplant Group’s ongoing research project to capture Patient Experience of Liver Transplantation.
In particular, Karen’s interests involve mental health and wellbeing.
