Liver Patients’ Transplant Consortium Meeting

PSC Support Trustees, Martine Walmsley and Karen Rockell, attended the latest Liver Patients' Transplant Consortium meeting on 17 July.

Martine updated other liver patient groups on PSC Support's work to improve transplant services for liver patients before and after liver transplantation (prehabilitation and rehabilitation), the British Liver Transplant Group work and the progress of the IQILS accreditation scheme.

The Associate Medical Director of NHSBT (Professor John Forsythe) and the Chair of the Liver Advisory Group (Professor Doug Thorburn) hosted the meeting.
