Congratulations to Dr Palak Trivedi for being awarded a grant by Dr. Falk Pharma and the Core Charity to fund his study: 'Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Care Delivery Following Liver Transplantation for Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC)'.
The study will be the the first nationwide audit of IBD care delivery in the transplanted PSC population and aims to provide an evidence-based framework which could be used to improve therapeutic decision-making in this difficult-to-treat group of patients.
Elena Marcus is making superb progress in developing quality of life questionnaire for people with PSC, using rigorous and thorough methodology to ensure that her output is of the highest quality. Here is an update from Elena, recorded at our November 2017 London meeting at the Royal Free Hospital, London. If you are interested in taking part in this study, Elena is still recruiting, and is particularly interested in talking to people with experience of waiting for transplant or cancer.
