Skydive

Jump out of a plane for PSC Support!

Skydive for PSC Support

Arrange your own tandem skydive direct with the skydiving centre (drop zone), and start fundraising for PSC Support. There are drop zones all around the UK and abroad. Simply contact the drop zone and book your place.

What is a tandem skydive?

A tandem skydive is an exhilarating activity whereby you jump out of a plane at around 13,000-15,000 feet, strapped to the front of an instructor who controls the skydive and landing for you.

Where can I do a skydive?

There are centres all over the UK. Check that the centre is a British Parachute Association (BPA) Affiliated Parachute Training Organisation.

How much does a tandem skydive cost?

A tandem skydive costs between £150 and £250. In addition, you can often buy photographs or videos of your big jump.

You can of course, book through companies who arrange charity skydives, and some drop zones advertise this on their websites. Typically however, the organisers of 'charity skydives' charge around £400 and charge the whole fee to PSC Support. This means less of your fundraising goes to our charitable work and PSC research.

Can I choose the day I do the skydive?

You can arrange the day direct with the drop zone. Skydiving is weather dependent, so be prepared for a last minute date change if the weather is bad!

How do I fundraise?

Once you have arranged your challenge, set up a fundraising page and start spreading the word! It's as simple as that. Order our fundraising pack to get you started and we will be on hand to give you all the help you need.
