Thank you

Martine Walmsley

Martine Walmsey, having recently stepped down as Chair of PSC Support Trustees, deserves the utmost respect and recognition for her determined and selfless work for PSC patients.

Martine Walmsley

Martine first volunteered with PSC Support in 2007 and was elected Chair of Trustees in 2011.  For the past ten years she has volunteered in a full time capacity for the charity.  Martine has been tireless in her dedication to PSC patients; driving forward vital research, writing comprehensive patient information, staffing the helpline, helping to moderate the Facebook group and doing many other tasks in between.  She continues to represent PSC patients internationally and at the highest level.

Martine said, "It has been a real privilege to serve as PSC Support's Chair of Trustees and to volunteer for the charity over the last decade. Seeing young people affected by PSC is what makes me so determined to get PSC noticed and to support PSC researchers in their pursuit of effective treatments, and I will continue to work closely with PSC Support to champion PSC research. We all need a cure urgently, but young people, with their whole lives ahead of them, especially so. I'm delighted to see PSC Support steered by Paula Hanford as Chief Executive and Tim Waterson as Chair of Trustees. The charity's work couldn't be in better hands!"

A huge thank you to Martine for everything you have done for PSC patients.  We salute you!
