Yellow Card Awareness Week

Do you know that you can (and should) report any suspected side effects from your medication to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

The MHRA are raising awareness of their Yellow Card scheme and the importance of reporting suspected side effects, particularly when taking multiple medications.

The Yellow Card scheme is the UK system for collecting and monitoring information on suspected safety concerns involving medicines and medical devices.

It's important to report any problems or side effects, so that any issues with medicines or medical devices which may be currently be unknown can be identified. The MHRA is then able to take action if necessary.
