Twenty years ago this week, Kieron Dyer was playing for England in a World Cup quarter-final against Brazil.
Kieron Dyer was in the news in October 2021 when it emerged that he facing a liver transplant.
Last year he was told that he would need a liver transplant because of damage caused by primary sclerosing cholangitis.
